PatchWorks Industries

Patchworks Industries has over 20 years’ experience in the product and development space. Patrick (Patch), owner of PatchWorks Industries, is well versed in product and mechanical design.  Started out working mainly in the oil and gas industry, designing down hole pumps and motors as well as separators, tanks, flares, etc.  Then moved onto designing industrial air filtration equipment for nuclear waste and gold mines.  Shortly after this is when the move was made to the rack industry.

Patch started working with RockyMounts in 2012 designing their aero style Ouray crossbars, raised rail tower/leg (Flagstaff ) naked roof tower.  After designing rack systems he focused back on bike racks, RockyMounts staple and developed the BrassKnuckles upright bike mount.  Lot of time traveling to Asia visiting suppliers in China and Taiwan.  Multiple visits were required to ensure the brand had successful product launches for the global market.

Patch switched gears and began working with Rhino-Rack after his experience at Rocky Mounts. He was Rhino-Rack’s first North American engineer and spent a good bit of time in Australia to help build the business there as well.  There was a large focus on fitment of roof racks to North American vehicles. Designed products such as their thru axle adapters, light bar brackets, track - crossbar systems and so on. In Denver, throughout the years he also worked with Open Road Outfitters being one of their lead project managers and maintaining the relationship with Thule along with installing different bike setups - accessories from brands like Yakima, Kuat, and Swagman.

After working with some of the leading oil and gas - outdoor equipment companies in the world. Patrick (Patch) decided to start his own company, PatchWorks Industries. Passionate about helping brands, creating innovative products and watching companies succeed. Having built products that sell around the world is one of PatchWorks greatest accomplishments!

PatchWorks Industries has worked with Thule, Rhino-Rack, Kuat, RockyMounts and most recently Kaymar, out of Victoria, Australia.  There has been a large focus on bike racks, rack systems and fitments, truck bed racks, rack accessories, and custom installs.  Several custom patented designs for their clients in all different fields of industry.  Large focus on in house prototyping and 3D printing.  We can make your idea a reality.
